Well, we have recovered. A extra drive was source and we are back up and running. Had to go to some backups that were done luckly 3 hours before our crash, so very little was lost (except for those posters). Let me know if you find any problems.
The TDIClub server was rebooted earlier today due to some power moves at the data centre. Unfortunately, 2 of the drives on the RAID seem to be having problems and we are offline for a while as we attempt to get another drive in. Hopefully later tonight we should be back up.
The ISP will be doing some power maintance on Sunday morning (November 30, 2003)
Down time should be limited to a few mintues.
Well, looks like it was a false alarm. Earlier today indications were that system was potentially infected with LKM Trojan, but thankfully it was just a false alarm. After the heart attack of course.
That said, it's always good to keep changing your passwords to something you can remember.
Unscheduled own time today. Around 4pm PST we will go off line for a bit. Hopefully this won't be more than an hour or two.
Well, things have stabilized since our move. DNS entries were a little slow in updating, so or first week of October at the new ISP was hard on everyone, but things have since recovered.
Availability status was 99.975% last month (minus client DNS problems), so hopefully this will continue to be this good or better. As for the slowness issue sometimes noted, I am aware of it and will be making some changes once the next version of the forums comes out. My guess would be December or January. Additional updates the software along with my own is an option for more user info in the profile (i.e. Vag-com, regional emails, etc) along with an Even Calendar. A few other items will also be updated.
