Some database issues
Just quickly fixing some lingering database issues this morning. I hope to have things wrapped up by 6am PST.

Another update
The forums are now up in a read only mode so you can search the archives if required. If all goes according to plan we should be fully online later on Thursday without any data loss.

Status update
Well, I'm anticipating that later tonight most things should be up. Given that the anticipated time between when the main server should be repaired and when this will happen I may just put the forums in a read only setting for the 1/2 day until I can get the data off of the dead server. The benefit of this will be that there shouldn't be any lost data. It will also bring us that much closer to being setup where there should be limited (if any) data-loss should we loose one server in the future.

Server update
Now the waiting game begins. Replacement parts are now enroute for the server to be repaired tomorrow. In the mean time things are being brought back up on the backup server and hopefully we will be back up later today. The side effect is yesterday's posts will be lost.
Server update
The problem lies with the main server. Currently I am investigating the time to get this fixed by the vendor or to bring the backup machine online with the loss of 20 hours of data/postings.
Server Problems
Around 11pm Pacific time something took the server out. I'm not sure what the issue is at his moment, but I can't connect to the main server right now so the problem will have to wait till first thing in the morning when I can physically have a look at the colocation centre.
